Two judges had it for Calderon 68-65 and while the other had it for Mayol 68-65. Mayol was true to his word and really effectively pressured Calderon. Calderon for his part countered effectively in route to the victory. “I want people to understand that Mayol is a much different fighter that Hugo Cazares. He is very intelligent with his game plan. He made me work extremely hard to earn this victory. I have a lot of respect for him,” said Calderon.
